Can you help older people?
Yes. TechBuddy NI is designed especially for older people, vulnerable adults, beginners and anyone who lacks confidence with technology.
Can you help my parents or grandparents?
Yes. Family members can contact us on their behalf, arrange a visit and explain any concerns before we arrive.
What devices can you help with?
We help with phones, tablets, laptops, desktop computers, printers, broadband, Wi-Fi, smart televisions, smart speakers and common apps.
Can you help with the NHS App or GP online services?
Yes. We can guide you through installing the app, signing in and understanding how to use online health services. We cannot access private medical information without the customer present.
Can you help with online banking?
We can explain how online banking works and help with general device setup. We will never ask for PINs, passwords or security codes, and we cannot carry out financial transactions for you.
Do you visit homes?
Yes. We offer affordable home visits across selected areas of Northern Ireland. Travel availability and the price will always be agreed in advance.
How much does it cost?
Basic telephone advice is free. Home visits start from £20 depending on location and the time required. We confirm the cost before booking.
